00:00:00.300 --> 00:00:04.200
Landlords in England: your register deadline is coming.

00:00:04.800 --> 00:00:09.400
Every rental property has to go on the government's new landlord register.

00:00:09.400 --> 00:00:12.900
It's £65 per property, every year.

00:00:13.500 --> 00:00:17.900
Your deadline depends on where the property is.

00:00:17.900 --> 00:00:21.900
The West Midlands goes first, by 14 March.

00:00:21.900 --> 00:00:27.400
Then it rolls out region by region. London by October, and the South West last, in November 2027.

00:00:27.900 --> 00:00:33.200
Miss your window, and councils can fine you up to £7,000.

00:00:33.200 --> 00:00:41.000
And under the draft rules, every new gas certificate, EICR or EPC means updating your entry within 28 days.

00:00:41.600 --> 00:00:47.200
