Who we are and what we stand for
LandlordsReady is an independent, digital-first group for private landlords in England with one to five properties. We started in October 2026, as the Renters' Rights Act began to change how renting works.
Why we exist
Most private landlords are small. Many own one or two homes alongside a full-time job. The rules are now changing faster than most of them can follow, and their views are rarely heard when those rules are written. We give small landlords clear information, free tools that make compliance easier, and an organised way to be heard.
Our principles
- Safe homes first. We support good standards. Our tools exist to help landlords meet them, not avoid them.
- Evidence over opinion. Our positions come from what members tell us in surveys, and we publish the results.
- Honest about our size. We say how many members we have and speak only for them, never for "all landlords".
- Independent. We are not part of the government or any council, and we say so clearly.
- Free where it matters. Information and tools that help landlords comply stay free for everyone.
How we're funded
Membership fees, and in future clearly labelled sponsorship and retailer links in our buying guides. If we earn from a link, we'll say so on the page.
