Membership terms and refund policy

Who we are

LandlordsReady is a trading name of Justin Boger, Flat 2, 46 Ivanhoe Road, London SE5 8DJ. Email: hello@landlordsready.co.uk. We are an independent service and not part of the government or any council.

What membership includes

Membership costs £39 a year and includes: saving your properties and certificate dates, email reminders before certificates expire and before register updates are due, the member template library, and a vote in member surveys and on our policy positions. Our free tools, news and guides remain free whether or not you are a member.

Membership gives you general information and tools. It is not legal advice, and we do not provide an advice line. Reminders are a convenience: you remain responsible for meeting your legal obligations as a landlord.

Payment and renewal

You pay a year in advance by card through Stripe. Membership renews automatically each year at the price shown to you before renewal. We email you a reminder before each renewal, telling you the date, the price and how to cancel.

Your 14 days to cancel

You can cancel within 14 days of first joining and receive a full refund. You can also cancel within 14 days after each annual renewal and receive a full refund for that renewal. To cancel, use the cancel link in your account or email hello@landlordsready.co.uk. We refund to your original payment method within 14 days.

Cancelling later

You can turn off automatic renewal at any time from your account, in as few steps as it took to join. Your membership then continues until the end of the year you have paid for. Outside the 14-day periods above we don't give partial refunds, unless the law requires it or we have failed to provide the service.

Your data

We store the property details, certificate dates and email address you give us so we can provide the service. We never sell your data. See our privacy notice. You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing us.

Changes and ending the service

If we change these terms or prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the change affects you, and you can cancel before it does. If we ever close the service, we will refund the unused part of your membership.

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care to keep our information accurate and our reminders working, but we are not liable for losses caused by relying on general information instead of checking official guidance. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
